Southern Gutter

Local mate Trent was keen for a trip out over the bottom bar at Inskipp with his new Southwind to chase pealies & other reef ooglies – but with too much swell about we elected to head North to the Southern Gutter

After a 3am start & 1.5hr run we arrived at one of Treno’s marks & it didn’t take too long to get stretched 

 Treno landed a nice coral bream 1st up & I straighted the jig out on another good fish

After quite a struggle I managed to land my best trout from the bay – beautiful fish

We managed a few mac tuna, spotted mac’s & I even got a small broad bar all around 50-60cm – BUT Treno was the Trevally king of the day

I managed my first good spangled emperor for the bay –

Then my second on the light gear – Good fun on 10lb braid & my 2500 outfit

We managed another couple of mac tuna on the way in and finished off with a couple of Queenies at the Fairway – It was a great day in good company – Thanks Trent
