Pretty excited to report that we now have a new long-range sportfishing charter option out of Hervey bay aboard Freedom III with our 1st trip a great success !

With a window of stable weather we assembled a group of keen anglers who had previoulsy fished with local fishing guides Andrew Chorley and Tri Ton who also assisted on this 1st trip.

We did a fair bit of travelling while exploring the top of the Break Sea Spit and always had a few lures out the back .Matt Armistead with one of a number of beautiful and tasty yellowfin we landed !

We fished a number of ruble patches which resulted in all manner of species and a few quality cobia

There where also a number of beautiful diamond trevally landed like this one Trevor is holding

Tri with a thumping Golden taken on a jig !

There was quite a bit deep jigging out on the shelf – 400 gram knife jigs resulted in some serious pulling !!!
