Good mate Jack D has been after a good snapper for a while now so we seized a window in the run of SW’er’s we’ve been having to head out yesterday afternoon

Once we found the bait it didn’t take long for Jack to land his first reasonable red …

We both dropped a couple of fish after that before Jack lifted the bench mark with this amazing fish weighing in at 15lbs

The bait was pretty mobile & we used the Lowrance HDS side imaging to keep us on the bait with our drift runs being recorded on the HDS5m chart

The bite went into the night as darkness fell – with the stand out lure again being the 140mm Squidgy Wriggler in Glow with matching Glow 9 gram 2/0 heads

It was another great session with a number of fish over 4kgs – sure looks like being an amazing snapper season ….
