We’ve had some pretty awesome fishing over the last few months with everything form bass to bill fish. Some of you will have already heard about the unique black marlin run we had just before Christmas with half a dozen black marlin being caught sight fishing in only a few metres of water :-

My local mate Jack DePasquale with his fist bill fish

We had the www.saltwaterflyfishing.com.au Hervey Bay meet & Greet in January with a memorial for our mate Quinny

Then we had the www.saltwaterflyfishing.com.au Barra Brothel Weekend – which was hoot . The mango farm in front is an added bonus along with Wes and his daiquiri making skills

We’ve had some great sessions on the bass & barra out at beautiful Lenthals dam as well

It was great to see some familiar faces along with a few new ones at the first Evinrude E-Tech qualifying round for this years National Bream Classic on beautiful Sydney Harbour. There Was a full field of 27 teams competing for the Total cash pay out of $13’500.00 in CASH ! I’ll see ya’s all again at Round two in Gippsland in April

Our new Skeeter 22 V Bay boat is also FINALLY scheduled to arrive in Sydney on the 10th of March and here in Hervey Bay early April after being fitted out with a stack of trendy new gadgets – Then we’ll get some fishing done

We’re also going back to Christmas Island “Bone fish Capital of the World ” in August and have a couple of positions left – full details under the travel area.

Till next fishing trip – Scotto & family
